Qualification

• Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Material Science. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants should have demonstrated research expertise in Computational Mechanics: Fracture and damage mechanics, phase-field modeling, gradient damage modeling.
• Applicants should have demonstrated research expertise in Auxetic Structures: Design, numerical analysis, optimization and experimental characterization.
• Applicants should have demonstrated research expertise in Composite Materials: Experimental and computational analysis experience of CFRPs and GFRPs, including mechanical characterization, damage and failure…
• Desirable Qualifications: The candidate should have strong background of computational and experimental mechanics. Expertise in finite element analysis, scientific programming and advanced experimental techniques…

Pay

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 60000/- per month.

Duration and extension

Duration: The position is contractual and may be extended for up to 1 year, subject to the candidate's satisfactory performance, with renewal every 6 months.

Joining requirement

After selection, the candidate must join immediately upon receiving the offer letter, in accordance with the Institute's joining rules.
