Information we collect

Public job pages can be browsed without an account. If you register, we may collect your name, email address, authentication records, alert preferences, saved jobs, application-tracking details, bookmarks and study-reading progress. Support requests may include the information you choose to send. Please do not send Aadhaar numbers, certificates, portal passwords, OTPs, card details or other unnecessary sensitive documents.

How we use information

We use this information to provide accounts, alerts, saved preferences, study access, reading continuity, customer support, security, fraud prevention and essential service communications. Aggregated usage and performance information may be used to understand reliability and improve the platform.

Payments

When a paid service is offered, payment processing is handled by an authorized payment gateway. We may retain the order amount, payment status, gateway order or payment reference and refund status for support, accounting and legal compliance. GetJobAlert does not ask for or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, banking passwords or OTPs.

Cookies and device information

Essential cookies keep sessions secure and remember account state. We may also receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, timestamps and error logs for security, abuse prevention and service performance. Where consent is required for non-essential measurement, the relevant choice will be provided.

Sharing and service providers

Information is shared only as needed with hosting, email, analytics, security, customer-support and payment service providers acting for the platform, or when disclosure is required by law. We do not sell personal information. External recruiting and application websites have their own privacy practices.

Retention and security

Records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, transaction records, dispute handling, security and applicable legal obligations. We use access controls, encrypted connections and operational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can manage alerts and account preferences from your account. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and records that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes.

Children

The platform is intended for users capable of entering a valid agreement. A user under 18 should use any paid service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
