Pay

Rs. 37,000/- + 27% House Rent Allowance per month

Project details

Preference

Candidates having demonstrated work experience in Plant Tissue Culture, Plant transformation, recombinant DNA tools and CRISPR mediated genome editing will be preferred.

Job requirements

CRISPR mediated editing of key potato genes followed by generation of Knock-out transgenic potato lines and phenotypic characterization.

Tenure

Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

Appointment status

The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in IISER Pune.

Qualification recognition

The prescribed educational qualification should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.

Vacancy variation

Number of posts may vary depending upon the requirements during the selection process.

Interview expenses

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
