Qualification

• MA in Economics (or MA Honours in Economics), or MSc (Economics) is required
• candidates with related master’s degrees (e.g., data science, data analytics, business analytics, public policy) may also be considered.
• Freshers (degree completed) and/or up to 2 years of Experience

Contract and extension

The position is contractual in nature for a prefixed period. The contract period can be extended based on performance after an initial period of 6 months.

Duration

This is a full-time temporary position funded for one year (including an initial period of 6 months), which could be extended based on performance and project requirements.

Remuneration

Compensation would vary depending upon qualifications and experience and would be as per IIMA norms for Research Assistants/Research Associates (RA).

Preferred analytics proficiency

Proficiency in AI-enabled data analytics data analytics tools such as Python, R, Excel is preferable.

Desirable subject knowledge

It is desirable that the candidate should know about sustainable finance, sustainable business management, climate policy, ESG or related fields.

Communication and statistical tools

The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and, preferably, a command of statistical tools.
