Research Associate/Project Associate/Consultancy Associate

Contractual, six-month position supporting the Project Coordinator and Principal Investigator in data collection, field research, statistical analysis, literature review and research-report preparation.

Qualification

• Candidate must have a qualification of a master’s degree like MSc/ M.Tech/ MBA in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operation…
• A master's from IITs/IIMs/NITs shall be preferred.
• Minimum 01 year of relevant work experience in a project assistant/associate/similar post with leading research role.
• Experience in IIMs/IITs/TISS or government-funded research projects shall be highly preferred.

Pay

Consolidated Salary: INR 35,000 – 45,000 per month; negotiable based on qualifications, experience and skills.

Tenure

06 months (Extendable or terminable based on project requirements).

Desirable skills

Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis (STATA/R/Python); experience in primary data collection, survey administration, and field research; strong writing skills with the ability to prepare research reports and documentation; excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; and willingness to travel extensively within NER division.
