One Young Professional –I position for the Seed Production and Certification under STR component of AICRP on Seed (Crops), offered purely on a contractual, temporary, time-bound and project-co-terminus basis.

Qualification

Essential: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with good academic record.

Pay

Rs. 30,000/- consolidated; Emoluments (Fixed) PM

Desirable qualifications

Working knowledge of computer and MS office. Hands-on-experience on seed/ planting materials and/ or agri-horticultural fields / laboratory.

Appointment nature and regularization

The position is purely temporary, time-bound and co-terminus with project; the selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at IARI/ICAR.

Fixed salary and facilities

The salary is fixed in nature and candidate cannot claim for any increment and other government facilities.

Continuation and termination

Continuation depends upon progress reviewed every six months by the Principal investigator. Appointment may be terminated at any time by giving one month's prior notice.

No travel allowance

No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.

Governing memorandum

The terms and conditions for appointment of the Young Professionals will be governed by the ICAR Office Memorandum F. No. Agril. Edn. Edn. -1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020 and extant guidelines as and when issued in this regard.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising out of this advertisement or the selection process shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.

Government rules

Notwithstanding anything contained hereinabove, the terms and conditions shall be governed by the rules and regulations of the Government of India (GoI), as amended from time to time.
