Most advertised posts require Intermediate/Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Candidates should not treat “12th pass” as the complete eligibility rule: many Junior Assistant, Registration Clerk and computer-linked posts also require Hindi typing at 4,000 key depressions per hour, while some roles require English typing, MS Office knowledge, a computer diploma or relevant experience. Telephone Operator, Senior Assistant, Store Keeper and a few department-specific Junior Assistant posts carry additional role conditions.

Age limit and relaxations
Age is calculated as on 1 July 2026. The standard range is 18 to 42 years for most posts, while specified posts begin at 21 years and retain the 42-year upper limit. Uttarakhand SC/ST/OBC candidates receive 5 years, Uttarakhand PwD candidates 10 years and eligible freedom-fighter dependants 5 years of relaxation; ex-servicemen rules apply as described in the official notification.

The intermediate-level syllabus allocates 20 marks to General Hindi, 40 marks to General Knowledge/General Studies and 40 marks to Uttarakhand-related General Knowledge. The typing test is qualifying for posts where typing is an essential condition.

Documents and checks before submission
- Recent passport-size photograph, signature and left-thumb impression in the dimensions accepted by the portal.
- Class 10 and Class 12 certificates/mark sheets; post-specific computer, typing, diploma or degree documents where applicable.
- Uttarakhand domicile, caste/EWS, PwD, orphan, ex-servicemen or other reservation certificates, when claiming the benefit.
- Valid Uttarakhand employment-exchange registration where required by the advertised post.
- Aadhaar-linked details, active mobile number and email address.
- Final submitted form, fee receipt and a copy of every uploaded certificate.

Can 12th-pass candidates apply for UKSSSC Group C Recruitment 2026?
Yes. Many posts, including Junior Assistant and Registration Clerk, accept Intermediate/Class 12 with the prescribed Hindi/English typing or computer qualification. Some posts require a diploma, degree, experience or a particular subject, so check the exact post code before applying.
What is the last date for the UKSSSC 553-vacancy form?
The online application window is scheduled from 8 September to 7 October 2026. The correction window is 12–14 October 2026. Submit early because incomplete registration or fee payment after the deadline may not be accepted.
What is the UKSSSC Group C age limit?
