Job description

Design and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions; conduct risk assessments, VAPT, and security audits; implement IAM, MFA, encryption, API security, and network security controls; monitor security incidents using SIEM tools and lead incident response; ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CERT-In, DPDP and OWASP guidelines; integrate security into the SDLC/DevSecOps lifecycle; prepare security policies, documentation, and compliance reports.

Government/PSU experience criterion

Candidates from Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organizations having IDA/CDA Pay Scale etc. should have a total experience of 08 years and should worked for at least 2 years in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 /CDA pay scale in the level 9 of pay matrix of 7th CPC (pre-revised IDA/CDA pay scales as applicable, for salary drawn in pre-revised pay scale).

Private-sector experience criterion

Candidates from private sector or other organizations should have a total experience of 8 years and should have an annual CTC of at least 20.16 LPA on the last date for submission of the application.

Experience exclusions and apprenticeship

The period of training (except on-the-job training) / internship / teaching / academic / fellowship / PhD research experience shall NOT be counted as a part of experience. The period of Apprenticeship training (as per The Apprenticeship Act 1961) in the relevant discipline / area shall be considered for minimum post-qualification experience required for the post, subject to fulfilment of all other eligibility criteria of the post.

Medical fitness

Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Medical Examination to be conducted as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.

Probation

The appointment will be initially on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining and further continuance as well as confirmation of service would depend upon performance and verification of genuineness / veracity of the certificates & documents submitted at the time of joining RITES; and till such time the confirmation order is issued, the employee will continue to be on probation.
