Qualification

MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Pediatrics, (DCH) preferably MD/DNB (Pediatrics), from a recognized University/Institution and valid registration with Medical Council/National Medical Commission/State Medical Council.

Pay

Medical Consultant (MBBD with MD/DNB ): ₹ 3,500/- per hour; Medical Consultant (MBBS with DCH): ₹ 2,500/- per hour.

Desirable experience

Post-qualification experience in the relevant field will be desirable.

Qualification acquisition date

The prescribed qualification should have been acquired on or before the last date of Walk-in Interview

Additional qualifications and experience

Candidates possessing additional relevant qualifications and experience may also be considered, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Nature of engagement

The engagement shall be on Part-Time, Temporary and Contract basis.

Engagement period

The period of contractual engagement shall be up to 31.12.2026, subject to satisfactory performance and other terms and conditions governing the engagement.

No right to regular appointment

The engagement is purely temporary and contractual in nature and shall not confer any right whatsoever upon the Consultant for regular appointment in GAIL.

Work pattern

The Part-Time Visiting Consultant – Paediatrician shall be engaged thrice (3) a week, for a minimum of two (2) hours per visit.

Local conveyance charges

The Consultant shall be paid local conveyance charges @ Rs. 14/- per km for travel from residence to GAIL Hospital, Vijaipur, as per applicable rules.

Application fee

No application fee is applicable to apply for the post of Part-Time Visiting Consultant – Pediatrician.

Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
