DRDO has issued an official recruitment notification for RA (Physics).

Research Associate fellowship in Physics; the notice prints 07 fellowships jointly for the Research Associate row without a discipline-wise split.

Ph.D thesis applicants: Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis may also apply for Research Associate (RA) fellowship. However, the Research Associateship shall be awarded only after the candidate has been awarded the degree or provisional certificate on or before the date of offer of research associateship.

Qualification

• Ph.D. or Equivalent Degree in Physics/Electronics
• M.E./M. Tech with 3 years of Research experience in field of Semiconductor Materials, Devices Fabrication and Characterization with atleast one research paper in Science…

Pay

INR 67000/-month

Combined RA fellowship count

The notice prints 07* fellowships for the Research Associate row, without a Physics/Electronics split.

Age relaxation

Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt rules will be permissible.

Funding and project duration

Those who will be selected for the JRF/RA under the project will be paid as per the provision of funds up to PDC of the project.

Temporary position

The position is purely temporary. The offer of Fellowship will not confer any right for absorption/regular appointment in DRDO.

Vacancy and project qualification

Some vacancies are regular and some of them are DRDO specific project basis, fellowship may be terminated after completion of the project.
