DRDO has issued an official recruitment notification for M.Tech in Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics Internship.

Six-month paid internship for eligible pursuing M.Tech students in Physics, Applied Physics or Engineering Physics, preferably in application of Quantum Mechanics.

Vacancy allocation — check official notification: The table prints 03 against B.Tech / M.Tech and 02 after the M.Sc Physics entry, followed by a separately named M. Tech Physics entry and Total 05; it does not print a separate vacancy figure for M. Tech Physics.

Qualification

• Post Graduate Engineer: M.Tech (IIndyear) full time course in the respective discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute.
• M.Tech in Physics/ Applied Physics/ Engineering Physics (Preferably in application of Quantum Mechanics), 3rd \ 4th semester in M.Tech
• The student should have good academic track record with ≥ 70% marks or ≥ 7.0 on a scale of 10 (copy to be enclosed)…

Pay

5,000/- Per Month

Internship duration

The duration of internship/project work training will be for a period of 06 months.

Institution request letter

Principal/Director of institution should provide the request letter to highly deserving meritorious students only.

Boarding and lodging

No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible. The selected candidate need to arrange accommodation on their own arrangement.

Stipend attendance condition

Stipend of internship and retention of internship training for a period of six months is only applicable if a student has good academic performance and complete minimum of 15 days per month of physical attendance at DYSL-QT.

Stipend installments

The stipend will be credited to the student’s bank account after the completion of three months and six months respectively (₹15,000 each).

No employment entitlement

DYSL-QT / DRDO shall have no obligation to offer employment to such interns / project students nor can an intern claim a right for employment on the grounds of completion of this Internship.
