Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has issued an official recruitment notification for Deputy General Manager ( Operation Safety).

One position in the Project Wing, offered on Contract/Deputation basis to qualified and experienced serving/retired officers from the specified organizations.

Qualification

• Graduation/ Engineering in any discipline
• Post qualification experience of 14 Years out of which minimum 8 years shall be in a job related to train operation and operation safety…
• Experience in preparation of Station Working Orders is preferred.
• Experience in monitoring/ executing train operation, including shunting and movement with shunter/ battery locomotives operated during non-interlock working is preferred.

Pay

Contract employees: Consolidated Pay Rs. 1,64,000/- p.m; Deputation employees: Parent pay; Retired employees: Rs. 1,26,746/-p.m. Contract employees receive Conveyance allowances, GMC, GPA, NPS and applicable allowances & Perks as per prevailing Rules of the Company; deputation employees receive applicable allowances are per the rules of the Company; retired employees receive entitled allowances to the Post as per rules of Company.

Appointment basis

The appointment will be on Contract /Deputation basis.

Contract tenure

The tenure of contract appointment will initially be for a period of 3 (Three) years in the case of below 60 years and 1 (One) year for above 60 years of age and extendable based on performance and requirement.

Contract termination

The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 1- 3 months’ notice or by paying the contractual remuneration in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant.

External candidates only

The position is advertised for external candidates only. Internal employees (Regular/ Contract/ Outsource) working in BMRCL are not eligible to apply.

Age relaxation consideration

If an adequate number of suitable candidates is not available, age relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates during the shortlisting process, subject to the approval of the Competent

Experience consideration

Post-qualification experience will only be considered. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview / selection.

Canvassing

Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or bringing political or other outside influence regarding selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.

Language preference

Knowledge of Kannada will be given preference.

Supporting documents

Documents in support of qualification and relevant experience shall be sent along with the application. Non-submission of documents along with the application will lead to rejection of application at any stage during the process of recruitment.

Cancellation of vacancies

BMRCL reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies at its discretion at any stage of the recruitment process and such decision will be final and binding on all.

Fitness assessment

BMRCL reserves the right to assess the fitness or otherwise of the candidates selected.

Recruitment risk

BMRCL shall not be liable for any damage/injury/loss to the individual, if any, sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey.

Misconduct and false documents

Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements which are false or incorrect, suppressing facts, or attempting to use unfair means for recruitment will have the application rejected.

Eligibility responsibility
