Allahabad University has issued an official recruitment notification for Junior Research Fellow.

One Junior Research Fellow for the ANRF project “Optimization, Fabrication and Characterization of Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Deposited CuSbS2 Thin Film solar cells”; the temporary tenure is initially six months, extendable year-wise, subject to project continuation and satisfactory performance, up to three years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Pay

Junior Research Fellow (M.E./ M.Tech./B. Tech//M.Sc with GATE or NET): Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA for first two years; Rs. 42,000 per month + HRA for third year.

Project title

Desired qualification

GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/ qualified.

Desirable knowledge

Knowledge in characterization, Semiconductor Physics, Material synthesis and fabrication, Solar Cell

Fellowship eligibility and CGPA provisions

GATE/NET is not mandatory for the candidates who have obtained first class ME/M Tech/MS through a national level examination for admission conducted by central government institutes or its agencies such as IITs, IISc, IISERs, DRDO, DST, and DAE, etc. (2) In case class/division is not available, the candidates must have obtained CGPA 6.5 or above in ME/MTech/MS.

Other benefit

The applicants will be encouraged to apply to the Ph.D. program at University of Allahabad by fulfilling the institute's admission criteria.

Temporary appointment termination

The appointment is purely on temporary basis and will terminate automatically without any notice on termination of the research project.

Performance-based early termination

The appointment may be terminated earlier depending on the performance of the candidates.

No claim to appointment or absorption

The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in University of Allahabad.

Funding-agency conditions

Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.

Joining requirement

Selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
