SSC specifies JPG/JPEG, 10–20 KB and about 6 cm × 2 cm. Pixel values here are an editable working canvas, not an official pixel mandate. Current SSC notices capture the photograph live.

Create a readable signature JPG between 10 KB and 20 KB
A strict signature upload needs both readable ink and a valid byte range. The tool adjusts JPG quality without sending the source file to a server.
-
Start with a clean signature
Use dark ink on unruled white paper. Photograph or scan it sharply with empty margin around every stroke.
-
Choose the right fit
Use Fit with white background when the whole signature must remain visible; crop only unnecessary paper.
-
Keep the 10–20 KB range
The engine tries valid JPG quality settings and reports Pass only when the created file is within the selected range.
-
Check readability at normal size
Open the download and confirm thin strokes, edges and the white background remain clear before upload.
What to check
Important details before you upload
Use these checks together with the current official instruction. They explain what the controls can verify and what still needs human review.
Why exact signature KB is harder than resizing pixels
Pixel dimensions define the canvas, but file size depends on ink detail, paper texture, colour noise and JPG quality. Two signatures with identical dimensions can produce different KB values. This tool checks the actual encoded download instead of estimating size from the source image or merely changing the filename extension.
When the file stays below 10 KB
A very clean black signature on pure white paper may compress to a tiny file. Keep the required pixel dimensions and minimum KB entered. Do not add random noise, borders or text to inflate it. The tool searches for a suitable JPG quality, but an extremely simple source may need a larger permitted canvas from the official instruction.
When the file remains above 20 KB
First confirm that the target dimensions are correct. Remove unnecessary paper, use the background cleanup option only when it keeps the ink intact, and refresh the final result. Avoid repeatedly saving through messaging apps because that can blur strokes while leaving unpredictable file metadata and dimensions.

Questions about this requirement
Can I make a signature exactly 10 KB?
The useful requirement is normally a range such as 10–20 KB. The tool targets that range because an exact byte value is rarely necessary and may not be stable after another portal reprocesses the file.
Should I use Crop to fill or Fit with white background?
Fit is safer when crop removes any ink. Crop is useful when the source has excessive blank paper and the complete signature still remains inside the frame.
Will the downloaded file be JPG?
Yes. JPG is produced even when the source is PNG or WebP, and re-encoding removes the source image’s embedded metadata.
Can the signature be in capital letters?
Follow the active notice. The cited SSC requirement says signatures in capital letters are not accepted, so use your normal handwritten signature.
