The tenure of engagement will be initially for a period up to 12 months from the date of engagement or term of the project, whichever is earlier. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period given in the offer letter. Subject to extension of term of project, the engagement may be further extended as decided by the competent authority subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and work requirement.

During the period of engagement, If the performance is non-satisfactory, the incumbent could be terminated from the position with one- month notice.

Hands-on experience in insect dissection, microscopy, scientific imaging, and molecular techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, DNA barcoding, and sequence analysis). Knowledge of phylogenetic analysis, biodiversity surveys, museum curation, and scientific writing with research publications will be preferred. |
