Temporary, purely contractual Patent Agent post in the Department of Intellectual Property Management Cell, initially for one year and later extendable based on performance.

0–5 years of experience in IP-related work.
Pay: Rs.25,000/- upwards per month based on the experience
Contract basis: All the positions are on purely contract basis.
Duration: Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.
No right to extension or regularization: The completion of the period of contract will not confer any right for further extension, regularization, permanency at the Institute.
Preferred qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering with a strong technical background (preferred).
Desired skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret search results and support decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nationality and eligibility certificate: Candidates must be citizens of India. Persons who have migrated from Pakistan with the intention of permanently settling in India or subjects of Nepal are also eligible, but in their case a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India will be necessary for appointment. Such candidates should apply to the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs for necessary certificate and furnish satisfactory proof of having so applied.
