Qualification

• The candidates should have minimum qualification (prescribed for Level-2) of Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with 50% aggregate from any recognized Board/University. The condition…

• Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in specified cultural stream (as per notified post and category) only from Government Recognized Institution.

Pay

Level-2(Grade Pay-Rs. 1900/-)

Experience in the relevant field and performances given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.

Medical examination

Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass requisite medical examination in the prescribed medical standard by Railway Medical Authority to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties associated with the post.

Initial training

For posts where there is initial training prescribed, candidates have to qualify the training before posting.

Clerk cum Typist condition

Selected candidates, if posted as Clerk cum Typist have to acquire typing skill within a period of 2 years from the date of appointment at the speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on Typewriter and if typewriting skills are tested on Personal Computers (PCs), then 40 words per minute in English or 35 words per minute in Hindi.

Duties

Selected candidates will be utilized by the administration for conducting activities/events etc. whenever need arises and they will also continue to perform the duties of the posts on which they shall be posted.

Community reservation

The posts against Cultural quota 2026-27 are open to all communities and there is no reservation for any community.

Initial emoluments and training stipend

Emoluments on initial appointment will be minimum pay of the Level, plus other allowances admissible at that time. During training period only stipend will be paid as applicable. Candidates may have to give security deposit and execute indemnity bond wherever necessary.
