Regular-basis experience

Candidates applying on regular basis for General Manager (S & T) - Minimum 20 years post qualification experience (out of which minimum 15 years in executive/ managerial cadre in). a) Railway or its subsidiary/Sister concerns/Rail PSU’s, and/or b) Metro Rail Corporations. The officer should have varied experience of working in Railway /Rail PSUs /Metro Rail Companies in the Signalling & Telecom department.

Deputation experience and current scale

Candidate applying on deputation basis for General Manager (S&T)- Candidate shall be a serving IRSSE officer of Indian Railways, presently in the SAG pay scale Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/- (Level-14- CDA Pattern) or shall be in the pay scale of Rs.120000-280000/- (IDA Pattern) or its equivalent scales in subsidiaries or sister companies of the Indian Railways/Rail PSU’s, and/or Metro Rail Corporations with relevant experience in the Signalling & Telecom department.

Current grade requirement for regular applicants

For the candidates applying on regular basis for GM(S&T), the Candidates from Railways/Rail PSU’s/CPSE/Metro Rail etc. should be currently working in the equivalent scale or should have minimum two years’ experience in immediate lower grade/ its equivalent scale in IDA/CDA Pattern, as applicable

Private-sector CTC condition

Subject to fulfilling the other requirements, Candidates from Private Sector Companies will be considered subject to their present CTC being at least Rs.2.25 lakh per month .

No Objection Certificate

Applicants employed in Govt. /Quasi Govt. / Rail PSUs/Metro’s shall produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of written/online test and/or interview.
