One contractual Counsellor position, initially for one year and extendable year-to-year up to three years, with consolidated emolument of ₹ 92,000 plus fixed HRA of ₹ 10,620, totaling ₹ 1,02,620 per month.

Qualification

• M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology/Clinical Psychology with 1st Class
• M.Phil. in Psychology/Clinical Psychology with 1st Class
• Ph.D. in Psychology/Clinical Psychology.
• 02 years of relevant post-qualification experience in counselling, including both group and individual counselling, in an educational institution or mental healthcare clinic/hospital/institution.

Pay

Consolidated Emolument: ₹ 92,000 + HRA fixed ₹ 10,620/- (Total ₹ 1,02,620/- per month)

Contract tenure

The selected candidate will be engaged on contract basis initially for a period of one-year, extendable on year-to-year basis upto three years, subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent & need of the Institute.

Contractual status

The above position is purely contractual in nature and thus candidate(s) will have no right to claim any regularization / absorption etc. in the Institute.

Citizenship

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Work pattern and responsibilities

Upon joining the Institute, the Counsellor will be required to perform duties on 06 days in a week for 08 hours per day in morning or evening shift so as to look after the counselling needs of the PGP students, scholars, various other programme/course participants and the IIM Lucknow community members. He/She will be functioning under the administrative supervision of the Student Affairs Office.

Emergency counselling

The Counsellor is also expected to attend to counselling exigencies (online/offline), if required, beyond normal working hours/holidays, etc. (only in emergency cases).

HRA condition

HRA shall not be admissible, if provided with campus accommodation, subject to availability and other terms & conditions.

Age cutoff wording

Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of applications.

Age relaxation

The age limit is relaxable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD category as per Central Government rules for which applicants have to attach the necessary certificate(s) as prescribed by the Government of India.

Exact percentage

No rounding off of percentage (%) is allowed. Candidates are required to fill their exact percentage of marks while filling online application form.

No TA/DA

No TA/DA or any other incidental expenses will be reimbursed to attend the Interview.

Number of posts

The number of posts may be increased or decreased as per need of the Institute.
