Reservation: For the above vacancies, reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS categories will be applicable as per provision of Apprentice Act 1961, Apprentice Rules, 1992 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2015.
Vacancy variation: The number of vacancies may vary depending upon requirement.
Training period: The period of training will be 12months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Police verification after joining: Selected candidates have to submit the “Police Verification Certificate” after joining.
No obligation to offer employment: It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Solid State Physics Laboratory, Delhi, where training is imparted, to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of period of his/her apprenticeship training.
Accommodation and transport: The apprentices will not be provided any Govt. quarters/hostel accommodation/transport by this establishment during the training period.

Selection process

Verification of credentialsVerification of credentials shall be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract. In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.

Candidates must have registered their names at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected. (For ITI candidates)

Submit hard-copy application
Duly filled application form must be submitted by POST to Director SSPL, Kind attention : HRD, SSPL , DRDO Lucknow Road Timarpur Delhi – 110054 (in hard copy) with self-attested photo-copy of all relevant documents on or before 21 August 2026.
