The sportspersons having the sports norms of level 5/4 and applied only against the level 3/2 shall be considered only in the level 3/2 and at the time of trial, he/she will have to submit undertaking that after joining Railway, he/she will not claim for higher level of pay on the basis of sports achievement prior to joining Railways.

Sports performance will be adjudged on the basis of the Participation in sports events held on or after 01/04/2024.
- Training and emoluments

Emoluments on initial appointment will be minimum pay of the level of pay plus other allowances as admissible at that time. During training period only stipend will be paid as applicable. Candidates may have to give security deposit and execute indemnity bond, wherever necessary.

Selection process
- DV and trialAll eligible candidates will be called for DV & trial.
- Fitness threshold at trialAfter trial, only FIT candidates securing 25 or more out of 40 marks for game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial shall be assessed for the next stage; candidates declared UNFIT will not be assessed further.
- Minimum qualifying marksMinimum qualifying marks for Level 3/2: 65 Marks.
- Merit and tie-breakingThe offer of appointment shall be given purely on the basis of merit. In case more than one sportsperson score the same marks, preference will be given to younger candidate to decide the merit.
