The scale of pay for the post of Staff Assistant is presently ₹ 24050 - 1340/3-28070- 1650/3 – 33020 - 2000/4- 41020 - 2340/7 -57400-4400/1- 61800- 2680/1- 64480 (20 stages) + 11 Stagnation increments at the rate of ₹ 2680/- at frequencies of 2 years after reaching maximum of the Scale. At present the total starting emoluments are around ₹ 47,000/- per month, inclusive of DA & HRA at the current rates.

Selection process
- Online test/examinationThe selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of the Online Test/Examination. The Online Test/Examination will be conducted in English. Online Test/Examination: 200 marks.
- Negative markingThere shall be Negative Marking for wrong answers (one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer).
- Final selection and interviewFinal selection will be on the basis of the ranking accorded based on the online test/ Examination as per rule of reservation. There shall be no interviews for selection of candidates.
- Online Test CenterTest centers shall be within the respective erstwhile district only.

Candidates have to pay requisite fee/intimation charges through online mode only.
- 04Required uploads
The online application will not be registered unless the candidate uploads the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and hand written declaration as specified.
