GSECL Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) Recruitment 2025 Qualification

• Full time B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA in regular mode from recognized University duly approved by UGC with minimum 55% in last year / 6th & 7th semester without ATKT.


• The candidate should have working knowledge of computers and English language, which shall be assessed by the Company through pre-employment test.


• If the above qualifications are obtained through Distance Learning Mode, the Degrees should be approved by Distance Education Council (DEC) of Government of India. In case of BCA, MCA passed candidates, the course should be approved by AICTE.

• For Unreserved Category : 30 years and


• For Reserved & EWS Category : 35 years on the date of submission of On-line Application.

• 1st Year - Rs. 22,000/-

GSECL Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The Selection Process will be carried out in 02 stages, (1) On-line Exam & (2) Computer Based Test (CBT) / Document Verification.

• There will be 100 questions in exam paper. Each question carries 01 marks. For each correct answer 01 mark will be awarded. There shall be no negative marking system.


• The Question Paper will be in English Language Only.


• The Question Paper for the exam shall be consisting of 100 questions and the paper shall be of 100 marks. The paper shall comprise of 100 questions on General Knowledge, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Awareness.


• There will be 70% weightage of marks for On-line Exam and 30% weightage of marks for the Computer Based Test (CBT) / Document Verification.


• The Question Paper for exam shall be consisting of 100 questions and the paper shall be of 100 marks. There shall be negative marking system and 1/4th mark for each wrong answer shall be deducted to arrive at total marks scored. The Qualifying Marks for CBT shall be as under: Unreserved Category (UR)/EWS - 50%, SC/ST/SEBC - 45%.


• Minimum eligibility marks in the exam for Unreserved category candidates and EWS is 50 and for Reserved category candidates is 45.

• A candidate has to apply On-line through the GSECL website www.gsecl.in only. No other means / mode of application (for example, through postal service, etc.) shall be accepted. The registration process is mandatory and the last date for submission of online application is 19.05.2025 before 06.00 P.M.


• Candidates are requested to apply only if they are fulfilling requisite criteria. Since, we are not seeking all the documents at the time of application; candidate has to doubly ensure that he fulfills all the requisite criteria before applying. In case it is found that the candidate is not fulfilling the requisite criteria, then the candidature of the candidate is liable to be rejected. The candidate should take note that the GSECL will carry out the verification of their documents at any later stage and if any disparity is found in the documents, the candidature of the candidate is liable to be rejected.


• The management reserves the right to short-list, select and reject any candidates for On-line Exam as the case may be for selection. • Candidates are required to submit ONLINE Application compulsorily. The candidates shortlisted for On-line Exam on the basis of their “on-line applications” shall be required to submit photocopies of all relevant documents and subsequently, the original certificates for verification as and when required and if not submitted within the prescribed time limit; their candidature will be considered invalid. The Management reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the candidature or the whole process of the recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
